As reported by the family, the veteran actor had been struggling with age-related ailments for some time and died peacefully in the early morning hours.
Prior to making a foray into the world of films, Kota was employed with the State Bank of India. It was there that his passion for acting found an outlet in plays. With the cult success of Aha Naa Pellanta, Kota found stardom and never looked back.
