Land Titling Act: Minister Botsa Satyanarayana Fires on Opposition

YSRCP leaders express frustration towards critics of the Land Title Act. Government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy clarified, “We did not enact the Act; it was initiated by the BJP government at the Centre. If Chandrababu seeks clarification, he should direct his inquiries to the BJP, not us.”

Additionally, Minister Botsa Satyanarayana defended the Act, asserting its intent to empower land rights holders. “We aim to eradicate middlemen through this legislation,” he stated. Satyanarayana dismissed concerns about the law, accusing detractors of spreading misinformation about the issuance of Xerox papers. He remarked that legal action would have been taken against these individuals if not for the election code. Furthermore, he noted that the Centre has advised states and Union Territories to adopt the Land Title Act.
