Lakshminarayana confirms where he wants to contest in 2024

Ex-Joint Director of CBI, VV Lakshminarayana has got a huge following among youth for his services in the central organization. Such an ex-bureaucrat has revealed his future political plans and confirmed the place even.

Lakshminarayana gave voluntary retirement to the CBI even before the end of his duties and forayed into politics to bring some changes, especially in the department of Agriculture. After holding talks with some parties, he chose Janasena and contested as an MP of Vizag and ended up in third place. Since the results, he has been maintaining distance from the party. At this juncture, speculations are rife that he would either join BRS or BJP to contest as an MLA this time.

Shattering all these speculations, VV Lakshminarayana declared that he prefers Lok Sabha more than Assembly so he would again contest as an MP from the Visakhapatnam constituency again in the 2024 polls. Talking about the party, this ex-CBI had claimed that he was not happy with the way the existing political parties of AP function as he is against spending money for votes. So he looks forward to contesting as an Independent rather than joining any political party. Lakshminarayana however cleared the air about Janasena by stating that he didn’t like the idea of Pawan Kalyan doing movies in parallel and that was the main reason he exited the party.
