The Urban Development Minister of Telangana, Kalvakuntla Taraka Ramarao has addressed a couple of delegates in a meeting the other day. Praising the HUDA to the Sky, the BRS Minister’s comments on the working AP Capital Amaravati made everyone think deeper.
Going into the details, KTR stated that the Hyderabad Urban Development Corporation, or HUDA in short is now the biggest urban development organization in entire India with 700 square kilometers under its hood. He added that the Capital Development Authority of Amaravati would have been bigger if the capital was constructed as per they announced after the bifurcation but it didn’t become a reality. These comments are indeed a huge slap on the AP Government and its Ministers since they neither developed Amaravati nor at least decentralized the three capitals just as they claimed.
Since the case of Three capitals is in the Supreme Court, Analysts opine that the verdict would favor Amaravati but not the three capitals. Meanwhile, the AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has ramped up the construction work of his permanent CM Office in Rushikonda, Vizag leaving Amaravati in vain.
