KTR Subtly Warns Kavitha To Keep Party Matters Private

Wednesday, December 10, 2025

In a subtle hint of internal conflict, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) made a polite, however pointed, reminder to his sister and senior party functionary K. Kavitha to keep party matters only on internal forums.

At a recent press meet at Telangana Bhavan, KTR, while attacking Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, found it hard to let go of the controversy regarding Kavitha’s recent remarks. He explained that penning a letter to party chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) was a common practice, explaining that BRS has internal democracy and allows free speech. But he made it a point to emphasize that internal issues should remain within closed doors, not publicly.

KTR’s statement is being interpreted as a well-chosen message to Kavitha, who had recently caused a stir with statements about “ghosts” and “stealth forces” within KCR’s decision-making. The two created a stir both within the party and among political circles, questioning the internal stability of BRS.

Even as KTR characterized the letter as a small matter, his hesitation to sign off on Kavitha’s grievances has made people wonder if everything is alright between the supreme leadership. Opinion is that his diplomatic word choice suggests an attempt at covering up the situation while discreetly voicing displeasure over Kavitha’s outburst in public.

In the midst of the drama, party activists and political watchers are keenly observing KCR’s reaction—or lack thereof. There is increasing interest in whether the BRS chief has the same concerns as Kavitha or considers her recent moves as controversial. Her greater emphasis on personal political branding and move away from the party line is sparking speculation that she might be getting ready to cut her own way into politics.

With the Telangana political scenario already heating up, insiders feel that the leadership of the BRS needs to sort out this internal conflict before it snowballs into larger issues. Everyone’s eyes are now set on KCR’s next step and if the party can maintain unity for the upcoming political battles.
