BRS Party Working President KTR criticized the Congress government for its handling of demolitions affecting impoverished communities. He condemned the administration for portraying itself as a “people’s government” while aggressively demolishing the homes of the poor, resulting in residents taking refuge under plastic covers in harsh conditions.
KTR shared a video highlighting the plight of those displaced by the demolitions carried out by the Revanth government. He pointed out that the BRS regime had previously constructed 40,000 double-bedroom houses for the poor in Hyderabad, which are now ready for distribution. KTR has called on the Telangana Chief Secretary to expedite the allocation of these houses to the displaced individuals to alleviate their suffering.
Emphasizing the need for a compassionate approach to resettlement, KTR stressed the importance of delivering justice fairly to all affected parties. His remarks come in the wake of HUDA’s recent demolition of several constructions around lakes on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
