BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) dismissed speculations about his or MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha’s candidature for the Chief Minister’s post, asserting that KCR remains the party’s sole CM candidate. He criticized the ongoing campaign projecting him or Kavitha as potential CM contenders, calling it baseless and misleading.
Addressing the media today, KTR took a strong stance against Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy, warning that the BRS will soon deliver a fitting lesson to both him and the state government. “The people of Telangana are keenly observing the developments in the state,” KTR said.
Commenting on the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) case filed against him in connection with the e-car racing controversy, KTR revealed that he is seeking legal advice. He alleged that Revanth Reddy’s government is conspiring to have him arrested.
“I am consulting legal experts and will appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as per their advice. The ACB cases filed against me are politically motivated and baseless,” he said, accusing the government of attempting to target him through false allegations.
KTR further asserted that the BRS is not intimidated by arrests or legal actions. “Neither I nor the BRS party fear such conspiracies. We are prepared to face any challenge,” he added.
