Congress leader and former MLC Konda Murali has alleged that Warangal district in-charge Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy is conspiring against them and that he seems to be acting in a biased manner towards his wife and Minister Konda Surekha. Konda Murali, who came to respond to the show-cause notice given by the PCC disciplinary committee, against the comments made against the party leaders, has in turn given a warning to the PCC leaders, ministers and MLAs.
Murali, who came out after meeting Congress Disciplinary Committee Chairman and MP Mallu Ravi at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, commented, “Don’t provoke me.. I am not weak.. I also have self-respect.” It is learnt that he has filed a complaint with the disciplinary committee against Warangal combined district MLAs, MLCs and leaders as well as the district in-charge Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.
Recently, notices were issued for making comments against MLA Kadiyam Srihari. Murali has made serious allegations in the letter that Warangal District In-charge Minister Ponguleti. Congress sources have stated that Ponguleti’s uncle and senior Congress leader Ramasahayam Surender Reddy had quit politics because of him last year, and now his son-in-law Ponguleti is taking revenge on them.
It is also known that Konda Murali has made allegations against CM Revanth Reddy’s close aide and government chief advisor Vem Narender Reddy. It is reported that Vem Narender contested against his wife Konda Surekha last year and lost, and Errabelli Swarna, who has not been able to win any election so far, is now the Warangal DCC president.
He recalled that they had resigned from their posts before joining Congress, but referring to former minister Kadiyam Srihari he said some of those who recently joined are not giving up their posts and are ruling the Congress. Murali’s letter also mentions that MLAs Gandra Satyanarayana, Revuri Prakash Reddy, Nayini Rajender Reddy and Yashaswini Reddy won with their support, but worked against them.
Meanwhile, the PCC Disciplinary Committee has issued another notice to Konda Murali. Disciplinary Committee Chairman Mallu Ravi stated that the answers given by Konda Murali have nothing to do with what the disciplinary committee asked for. He said that the notice has been issued again seeking a proper answer.
