Union Minister and state BJP president G. Kishan Reddy announced that from now on, they will move forward with the slogan of ‘Save Telangana.. Support BJP’ as the wonderful verdict in the MLC elections in the state has increased their responsibility.
He said that the results of these MLC elections have made it clear that people do not trust the Congress. He said that they were able to win the Congress sitting seat in these MLC elections only because people recognized the BJP as an alternative to the Congress party in the state.
In the wake of the resounding victory of the candidates supported by the BJP in the teachers and graduates MLC elections, Malka Komuraiah and Anji Reddy were felicitated by the party leaders at the BJP state office in Nampally on Thursday. This victory was celebrated on a large scale. Sweets were distributed and celebrations were held.
This caused a commotion at the BJP office. Kishan Reddy, BJP MP K. Laxman, several MPs, MLAs and important party leaders participated in these celebrations. Speaking to the media on this occasion, Kishan Reddy said that the BJP achieved an unassailable victory in the Telangana MLC elections and thanked the voters, party leaders and activists who supported this.
He commented that the graduates gave a slap in the face to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the Congress government. He expressed confidence that the BJP will form the government in Telangana with a landslide victory in the upcoming elections.
Kishan Reddy said that the conspiracies of the Congress party to defeat the BJP have not worked and that people are waiting for a double engine government to come to power in Telangana as well.
Referring to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s personal attacks against him when the BJP questioned non implementation of the electoral promises, he said that the people ignored them and gave the BJP a landslide victory.
He said that he does not need to answer or justify the personal criticism and false statements made by Revanth Reddy targeting him as part of the MLC election campaign. Kishan Reddy demanded that the Congress should implement the promises made to the people at least now.
