Delhi: Union Minister Kishan Reddy has strongly condemned Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for allegedly belittling the Indian Army’s recent victory, calling the remarks inappropriate. Speaking to the media in Delhi, Kishan Reddy questioned whether Revanth Reddy views the nationwide celebrations of the military’s success as a political campaign by the BJP.
He stated, “Our MPs have put aside party affiliations and are traveling globally to explain the necessity of Operation Sindhur. The question remains—who handed over PoK to Pakistan? The Congress party is responsible for the ongoing PoK dispute, which remains a persistent challenge. Unlike past Congress governments that responded to terrorist attacks with condolences alone, the Modi government took decisive action by conducting surgical strikes inside Pakistani territory. The world witnessed the firm response to Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack.”
Kishan Reddy’s remarks come amid rising political tensions over the handling and recognition of India’s military operations.
