Union Minister and state BJP chief G Kishan Reddy has made sensational allegations against the Congress government in the state alleging they are collecting `Rahul Gandhi Tax’ in the state. From builders to contractors, he said no one is left and is collecting hundreds of crore rupees to provide for Rahul Gandhi towards election expenses.
He said that the Congress is cheating the people of Telangana in the name of guarantees, just like in Karnataka. He recalled that during assembly elections Revanth Reddy promised people to implement Rs 2 lakh loan waiver on December 9. Also, the chief minister’s other promises to farmers and tenant farmers are yet to be implemented, he added.
Without fulfilling promises during assembly elections, he wondered that Congress former chief Rahul Gandhi announced some more guranttes at its Tukkuguda public meeting last week. He cautioned people not to trust Congress guarantees.
Referring to Revanth Reddy’s allegations that conspiracies are going on to dethrone him, Kishan Reddy said that as far as BJP is concerned they need not to conspire to dethrone Congress government in the state. He asserted that BJP will wait till the next elections and be sure that people will elect a BJP government next time.
The union minister deplored that though there is a change of government in the state, there is no change in the administration and exploitation of people. Only another party came to power in the place of one party, but continued the same corrupt regime, he alleged. Stating that the BRS and Congress parties are related, he said that the DNA of the Congress and BRS parties is the same.
Accusing that the DNA of both Congress and BRS is same, he said that if the Congress party is rooting for Nehru’s family, then BRS is rooting for KCR’s family. He recalled that in the past BRS party contested elections in alliance with Congress. Kishan Reddy predicted that Congress will again be rooted out in the present elections also and it may not win more than 40 Lok Sabha seats, like in 2014.
