Sunday, December 22, 2024

The last Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh, Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy shocked everyone by joining the BJP the other day leaving Congress forever. The veteran politician has revealed the reasons behind it.

Kiran Kumar Reddy who floated his own Samaikyandhra Party post the bifurcation stayed far from active politics all these years. Even though he was asked by a couple of parties, Reddy never shared his interest. Earlier, he was approached by his ex-Congress mates to rejoin the party and promote it for the elections and even met Rahul Gandhi in this regard. Surprising everyone including the political experts, Kiran joined the saffron party and hoped to boost the BJP with the state of Andhra Pradesh.

What astonishes many is the reason Kiran Kumar started for joining the BJP. He claimed that only BJP is committed to developing the two Telugu states and is considering implementing all its developmental schemes prior to other states. His comments are now ridiculed by the experts that BJP is the one which never gave enough funds nor fulfilled all the bifurcation promises. As these are not enough, BJP is the one that is privatizing Andhra’s pride, Vizag Steel Plant. Many advise the ex-Minister not to make such comments if he wishes to continue in politics.
