The immersion of the Khairatabad Ganesh idol in Hussain Sagar has been completed. The massive idol was immersed at the Fourth Number Crane on NTR Marg in Hyderabad. Before the immersion, special prayers were conducted by the organizers. The Ganapati procession began in the morning and reached NTR Marg by noon. Thousands of devotees participated in this procession.
The police had arranged extensive security for the event. As the immersion of the Ganesh idols progressed, thousands of statues were arriving at Hussain Sagar. The immersion celebration attracted a large crowd of devotees. Areas such as Tank Bund, NTR Marg, Telugu Thalli Flyover, Secretariat, and IMAX Road were bustling with Ganesh idols and devotees.
