Former Chief Minister and BRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao asserted that wonderful results were achieved with clear plans on water, funds and appointments during the formation of the Telangana state. He said that institutions like RBI are also praising Telangana’s development.
KCR revealed that despite being a new state, progress has been made in all sectors in a very short time, as clearly stated in the RBI report. As part of KCR’s birthday celebrations held on Monday at Erravalli Farmhouse, the book “Vandella Mudchupu” edited by Juluru Gowrishankar was launched.
Speaking on the occasion, KCR said that Telangana has been restored to its former glory and irrigated the upper lands. He has dug up the flooded ponds and ensured water security for future generations. KCR said that BRS is the only government that not only provides drinking water to every village, but also provides services beyond that, not just giving promises to the people.
He said that 24-hour power supply has been made possible for Telangana, which was shrouded in darkness, and has become an example for the country. He said that the Rythu Bandhu scheme is an example for the country and has turned Telangana into a granary.
Stating that the 125-foot Ambedkar statue symbolically shows the development of Telangana, KCR said that the state will be made a model for the country within 10 years and this has been revealed through the RBI report. Stating that the Telangana society knows this very well, he made it clear that lies will not stand and no one can belittle the progress made.
KCR said that along with the development of Telangana, the culture of Tehzeeb in the Ganga region is also being preserved. Rajya Sabha members Vaddiraju Ravichandra, Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Sirikonda Madhusudhanachari, MLCs Deshapathi Srinivas, Takkellapalli Ravinder Rao, V. Prakash, former Home Minister Mahmood Ali, and others participated in the program.
