After the formation of united Andhra Pradesh, Neelam Sanjeev Reddy held the office for 3 years. Kasu Brahmananda Reddy has the record of serving as the longest chief minister in united Andhra Pradesh for a period of 7 years and 7 months. Later the actor turned politician legendary NTR served the united Andhra Pradesh for over 7 years. After NTR, Chandrababu Naidu who has served the United AP for over 8 years 3 months followed by YS Rajasekhar Reddy for 5 years and 3 months.
Chandrababu Naidu is holding the record of serving the state for more than 8 years and now KCR is going to break it. Though CBN has been the chief minister for United AP, when we look into the state wise, it’s KCR who would achieve that rare feat of serving continuously for 9 years. Marking the occasion of Telangana formation day, KCR will also complete 9 years.
