Telangana Chief Minister and then called TRS Party Chief KCR along with his followers and supporters flew down from Hyderabad for the official launch of his renamed party, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Delhi.
With respect to this, the Telangana senior leader performed some special rituals (Yagam) at the new office on Wednesday. Reportedly, at least 800 TRS supporters and a group of priests has been traveled to Delhi for the inauguration.
Apart from the farmer leaders from various states, the Telangana ministers, MPs, and legislators, the ceremony was also attended by leaders from various parties including Janata Dal, Samajwadi Party, and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). KCR was even accompanied by the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, former Karnataka chief minister Kumaraswamy and other leaders.
According to the sources, the party office is hosted on rented property on a temporary basis. The construction works for a permanent party office have already begun in Delhi’s Vasant Vihar colony which will take at least a few more months to finish.
It is known that with the aim to become a leader at the national level, KCR started this BRS office in New Delhi.
