Former Chief Minister of Telangana and president of the BRS party, K. Chandra Sekhar Rao was rushed to Yashoda hospital in Hyderabad in the wee hours of Friday as he sustained injuries to his hip and left leg after he slipped at his home at midnight. He is currently getting treated there by a team of expert doctors.
As per reports, doctors have informed that his hip bone got broken and will require operation immediately. He will undergo medical tests in the morning and doctors will take a call on the operation because of his old age. A large number of BRS supporters gathered outside the Yashoda hospital in Somajiguda.
After facing a disappointing defeat in the recent assembly elections at the hands of the Congress party, KCR left for his native village to stay in Erravelli farmhouse on the evening of the counting day. He didn’t even address the press or release any official statement after the defeat of the BRS party.
A large number of people from Chintamadaka village in Siddipet district have been thronging his Erravelli farmhouse every day to greet him.
