MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha is creating political turmoil in BRS, alleging that Harish Rao and Santosh Rao played a key role in the massive corruption of Kaleshwaram project and accused that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is behind them and protecting them.
She made sensational comments, saying that KCR is being scapegoated amidst the corruption anacondas. “Harish, the CBI inquiry against my father is because of you. My stomach is burning. KCR gave the people of Telangana an inexhaustible wealth for generations. KCR has no interest in food or money. This happened because of some of those close to KCR. All this happened because of Harish Rao,” MLC Kavitha said, shedding tears.
She asked the BRS ranks to think about how the stain of corruption came to former CM KCR. Her allegations created a storm in the wake of the government’s decision to conduct a CBI inquiry into the Kaleshwaram irregularities based on the Justice PC Ghosh Committee report. There is a campaign that she will be suspended from BRS immediately.
However, dismissing her allegations, BRS working president and former minister KTR praised the dynamic leader Harish Rao for confronting the ruling party in the Assembly as a master class. Why should KCR face a CBI inquiry at this age?, Kavitha asked. She clarified that despite all these years in politics, KCR has not acquired any assets and that KCR has never had any hope in money. She recalled that Harish Rao was removed from the post of minister for the second time due to corruption committed when he was the irrigation minister.
MLC Kavitha accused that Harish Rao and Santosh Rao had also conspired against her.She recalled that the three engineers who worked in Kaleshwaram have assets worth hundreds of crores.
