Kanna Lakshmi Narayana has finally exited the BJP officially as he sent his resignation letter to the BJP National Head JP Nadda in the early hours of this morning. However, AP political circles are keen on his future course of action.
Kanna has traveled in the saffron party for quite a long time and even served as the state head before the 2019 elections. Post the elections, Somu Veeraaju took the responsibilities of the BJP wing in the AP and since then he has been expressing his distress over the party affairs. The ex-President of AP-BJP was rumored to be leaving the party in the past couple of months and it has turned out to be a reality as the ex-BJP leader released the resignation letter to the press.
Addressing the media, Kanna stated that he resigned from the party as the internal things within the BJP are not well and the way the BJP failed to address the atrocities of the ruling party YSRCP made him quit the party. Claiming that he did his best during his regime as the President of the party, but things went South when the leadership was transferred to Somu Veeraaju. Upon his future course of action, Kanna declared that as of now he has no intentions of joining any party and will sit with his close associates and supporters to know their interests. Depending on their advice, Kanna would take action over joining any political party. Some say he would join Janasena for his proximity to Pawan Kalyan whereas many say that TDP would give him better chances.
