Amidst many twists and turns, the Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy has been granted anticipatory bail by the Telangana high court.
Avinash Reddy is facing severe allegations in the context of the Y S Viveka murder case and the CBI has filed a number of charge sheets against the MP. In the recent affidavit submitted to the Telangana high court, the CBI has very clearly stated that MP is not cooperating with the investigation and also requested a custodial investigation. The CBI has directly mentioned that they would have taken the action the other day at Kurnool but they have stepped back just to avoid the law and order problem. Avinash Reddy has informed the court due to his mother’s illness he was not able to attend the investigation on the 19th of this month.
After taking everything into consideration, the high court of Telangana has granted him an anticipatory bail stating that he shouldn’t leave the country and must attend before CBI every Saturday without fail. What’s the real twist here is, Avinash Reddy is seeking permission as his mother’s condition is serious and the moment he got the bail, it is heard that his mother has also been discharged from the hospital.
