Praja Shanti Party president K.A. Paul has claimed that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has ambitious plans for the state, but is facing a lack of cooperation from Delhi’s leadership. Paul criticized former Chief Minister KCR for leaving the state with a debt of ₹7 lakh crore during his 10-year tenure, accusing him of “looting” Telangana. He further stated that while the current Congress government under Revanth Reddy has intentions to achieve significant goals, the state’s mounting debt is hindering progress.
Paul also revealed that Revanth Reddy had approached him to discuss strategies for addressing the state’s debt, and Paul agreed to collaborate. However, Paul emphasized that the debt has increased under Revanth’s leadership, preventing the fulfillment of election promises. He attributed the failure of these promises as the reason for his re-entry into the political field. Paul additionally remarked that Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, despite his desire to bring about change, is also constrained by similar challenges.
