Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said that it is not right to view the Miss World 2025 competition to be held in Hyderabad from a political perspective. He said that these competitions will be organized with the aim of showing the culture and traditions of Telangana and the opportunities for tourism here to the world and attracting investments. He said that all arrangements will be made for the organization of the competitions to be held in May.
It is noteworthy that the present Miss World Kristina Piskova and the Miss World organizers will also be present at the event. Just saying the name Miss World makes everyone’s eyes shine like stars. Miss World holds a special place among the beauty pageants that are especially popular among young people.
Telangana will be the venue for such competitions. The state government will host the 72nd Miss World competition under the name Telangana Zaroor Aana. In this context,
Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Secretary of the Tourism Department Smita Sabharwal, present Miss World Christina Piskova, Miss World Limited CEO and Chairman Julia Morley, and Telangana Tourism Corporation Chairman Patel Ramesh Reddy participated in the program organized at the Tourism Plaza in Begumpet under the auspices of the Telangana Tourism Department.
To uphold the tradition, women performed Mangala Aarti and Tilak. Later, they were invited to the venue with Sannai Melas. Handlooms and handicraft products were specially put on display to showcase the culture of Telangana. Speaking as part of the program, Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said that strict arrangements will be made for the competitions to be held in Telangana from May 7th to 31st.
He said that the cost of this is estimated to be around Rs. 54 crore, of which more than half will be collected from the promoters. Tourism Secretary Smita Sabharwal said that through the competitions, the importance of Telangana’s culture, traditions and tourism sector will be showcased to the world.
