Rashtrapati Bhavan has issued an official order appointing new governors for several states. Jishnu Dev Varma has been appointed as the Governor of Telangana, while Om Prakash Mathur will assume the role of Governor of Sikkim.
The President of India announced these appointments on Saturday. Jishnu Dev Varma, a senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura, will now take over as Governor of Telangana. CP Radhakrishnan, who previously held additional charge of Telangana along with Jharkhand, has been appointed Governor of Maharashtra.
Additionally, Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde has been appointed as the Governor of Rajasthan, and Om Prakash Mathur will serve as the Governor of Sikkim. Santosh Kumar Gangwar has been named the Governor of Jharkhand, and Ramen Deka will serve as the Governor of Chhattisgarh.
