The ex Joint Director of CBI VV Lakshminarayana is creating a lot of curiosity among the political circles of Andhra Pradesh regarding the 2024 polls. On one side people predict he might join BJP or AAP, but the updated information from his close associates says otherwise.
After losing the parliamentary seat in the 2019 polls under the ticket of Janasena, Lakshminarayana started his own JD foundation and started NGO works within the region of Visakhapatnam. Today the convenor of JD foundation, Priyanka Dandi gave a newspaper advertisement stating that she would contest as an MLA from Visakhapatnam East and her boss VV Lakshminarayana is keen on contesting from Visakhapatnam Parliament. She also invited on behalf of the JD, enthusiastic and like-minded contestants who like to work with them and contest as ward corporators. This indirectly tells us that now JD is not alone and he has a couple of MLA contestants under him.
Looking at all these and if the number of contestants for MLAs and ward corporators increase in number, there are high chances for Lakshminarayana to float his own political party and make his mark in the politics of AP. Seems he is following the footsteps of his senior Jayaprakash Narayana who also floated Lok Satta and contested in limited seats to bring reforms in his scope.
