The founder of Janasena, Pawan Kalyan is aggressively campaigning for himself with the ongoing Varahi Vijaya Yatra. The sources close to this politician suggest that the MLA candidate of Gajuwaka in 2019 will again contest from the same place.
Pawan Kalyan witnessed a mammoth gathering for the Gajuwaka Varahi public speech two days ago and he was received with a lot of love by the residents of the constitution. During the speech, Pawan Kalyan declared that he is ready to make Vizag his second home after Mangalagiri and he will be available to listen to their issues whenever they want. He also declared that the Janasena flag will be hoisted in the 2024 elections in Gajuwaka during the speech and all these factors declare that the actor-turned-politician is keen on contesting for the Assembly from the same Gajuwaka itself. Even if we look at the last elections, Pawan trailed in second place with 56,000 plus votes as the mismanagement at the booth level alongside the YSRCP wave played the spoilsport. Now with the increased vote bank of Janasena and growing anti-incumbency, political experts suggest that Pawan will surely win this time.
Apart from all these, the Uttarandhra and Vizag leaders of YSRCP have been defecting to Janasena for the upcoming elections and this would pull a huge chunk of the vote bank thereby giving at least two MLA seats and one MP seat in Vizag district for Janasena at any cost.
