Pawan Kalyan, the President of Janasena Party, has taken strong action against Kiran Royal, Tirupati in-charge, who faced serious allegations of sexual harassment and financial fraud, suspending him from all activities of the party. The action is part of the party’s strong stand for ethical governance and accountability.
The controversy unfolded when a woman publicly accused Kiran Royal of sexual misconduct and allegedly defrauded her of over ₹1 crore. As the issue gained momentum, both parties made counterclaims, escalating the matter further in the media.
Commenting on the scenario, Pawan Kalyan said that Janasena always believes in the values of honesty and will never tolerate any incidents that bring bad name to the party. “Our party follows very strong value systems, and any such activities that would jeopardize our integrity will be treated seriously,” he said.
Immediate measures have come in the form of Kiran Royal being relieved of all party responsibilities until the allegations against him are fully probed. Since the issue is now in the public domain, the outcome of the inquiry will go a long way in deciding the next course of action.
