Jana Sena leader and Municipal Corporator Peethala Murhty Yadav has revealed some more details with regard to his accusations against Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy’s large-scale alleged land grabbing around Visakhapatnam.
He said that from the day Mallikarjuna took charge as the District Collector of Visakhapatnam, the work of allotment of lands to YSRCP leaders has been done. He alleged that since CM Jaganmohan Reddy, CS Jawahar Reddy and Collector Mallikarjuna are in the same Kadapa district, it became easy for them to grab lands.
He said that the Collector identified lands near Visakhapatnam and Bhogapuram in the name of shifting capital to this place, in collusion with top YCP leaders. Murthy Yadav alleged that CS Jawahar Reddy benami Trilok and Subhash went directly to the farmers.
He claimed that the farmers were threatened and their lands were written off and free hold certificates were obtained. He said that 1.2 acres of land was taken from a farmer named Kanakala Chinna in Gandi Gundam village. Serve No. 288/1l land of Kanakala Apparao was registered.
Murthy Yadav alleged that revenue officials received bribes of crores of rupees in issuing certificates through Sureddy Trilok and Subhash. He expressed his anger that Visakha District Collector Mallikarjuna had changed Daspalla lands, Hayagriva lands and Ramanaidu studio lands.
He also alleged that the Collector had helped Vijayasai Reddy’s daughter’s constructions. Murthy Yadav stated that the Mallikarjuna also gave permission to misuse lands in Rushikonda.
Murthy Yadav expressed his anger that Visakha District Collector Dr. Mallikarjuna is in the service of CM Jagan, CS Jawahar Reddy, Dhanunjaya Reddy, Vijayasai Reddy, Subba Reddy and Bharathi.
He asked for robbing lands in Northern Andhra by people from Kadapa district. They thought, are the farmers here seen as innocent? He demanded that GO No 596 should be scrapped. He cautioned that the new government to be formed in another 72 hours will certainly take severe action against land grabbers.
