Jagan, to replace the TTD chairman and reshuffle the board?

Sunday, December 22, 2024

The holy board of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam shall see a full reshuffle within itself and its chairman is likely to be replaced by CM Jagan in a couple of weeks. Sources close to the YSRCP reveal the shortlisted candidates for the Chairman post.

The present chairperson YV Subba Reddy being the uncle of CM Jagan got an opportunity to serve the TTD board for the last three-plus years. Reddy is now keen on entering active politics so he wants to leave the post for another leader within the party and participate in the election battle. Now Jagan and his co have finalized three names to make one among them, a chairman of TTD and the names of Tirupati MLA Bhuma Karunakar Reddy, Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, and the MLC Janga Krishna Murthy.

Political observers are here to decode the three leaders and their chances of becoming the chairman in this regard. Bhuma is the senior leader since the times of YSR and even served as a TTD Chairman already during the regime of YSR in the United Andhra Pradesh. Coming to Chevireddy, the leader is a super confidante to the YSR family, especially to YS Jagan and he is also likely to get a chance. Last but not the least, Janga Krishna Murthy will get a chance if Jagan thinks to drop the other two Reddy community leaders in order to escape unnecessary caste-biased trolls.
