AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to launch the new YSRCP health scheme of the Family Doctor Program at the Lingamguntla village in Palnadu district this morning. The CM would reach the village and inspect the local Village Health Camps and would launch the scheme probably at 10 AM followed by a public meeting.
The Principal Secretary of Medical and Health departments, MT Krishna Babu stated that the program which is named ‘Family Doctor’ consists of two doctors for every VHC in which one would take care of OP and the other would care for the PHC. Each doctor in this program would be assigned 6-7 villages and they would regularly visit these villages on all days of the week to visit the centers and inspect patients. Also, they would carry a mobile that’s reachable from 9 AM to 4 PM all week.
Krishna Babu claimed that more than 69 lakhs of people already utilized the health care services via camps which were set in rural AP regions as a pilot program on the 21st of October, 2022 and since it became a huge hit, now the CM is officially launching it as a primary health scheme for villages. With this, the YSRCP government is thinking to checkmate the health issues of AP, especially for the poor people in rural regions.
