In response to Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s remarks about Sanatana Dharma at the Tirupati Varahi Sabha, YSR Congress Party leader Jagan questioned his understanding of the concept.
“Do you even know what Sanatana Dharma means? You were part of that alliance… Right in front of your eyes, Chandrababu made this mistake… It’s not just you; even a six-year-old would recognize that it’s wrong. You are creating doubt in the minds of people by diminishing the sanctity of Tirumala and the significance of Venkateswara Swami’s laddu, harming the sentiments of millions of people.
You have participated in that; you have given wings to those lies… You are the one spreading misinformation while talking about Sanatana Dharma. When something goes wrong, how appropriate is it to blindly defend it without pointing it out while discussing Sanatana Dharma?” Jagan commented.
