In what may be called a shocking piece of news, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy all of a sudden is heading to the capital this evening. The CM would board a 4:15 PM flight and land at 7:30 PM to attend a one-to-one discussion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah tomorrow.
No one knows exactly for what and why the YSRCP Chief has scheduled these sudden meetings with the BJP biggies without any prior signals even though the AP Assembly sessions have already begun. Many say that it is Modi’s idea to meet Jagan and discuss the ongoing political changes within the state of AP post-Janasenani’s speech regarding alliances. BJP thought that if Janasena ditches BJP at the last minute, it would directly pact with the YSRCP in AP. On the flip side, TDP leaders allege that Jagan is seeking the help of the central government to shield his cousin Avinash Reddy as there are many chances he could get taken into custody by the CBI regarding the murder case of YS Vivekananda Reddy.
For now, these two are possible speculations behind AP CM’s sudden visit but BJP is trying its best to use its resources to increase its strength in the two Telugu states. Since Janasena is its alliance partner now, it would go along with it by adding TDP if things go well or it can simply demand Jagan to go with it.
