TDP’s National Chief Chandrababu Naidu is touring the district of Nellore as a part of his ongoing Yudha Bheri campaign. Roadshows against the ruling party of AP, Babu has slammed his political rival highlighting the faults in the irrigation sector.
The ex-CM of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu has held a review meeting with the intellectuals of the district and the farmers of the region alongside the TDP activists regarding the state of irrigation in the state. After the meeting, CBN spoke at length regarding how the irrigation sector was completely compromised by AP CM Jagan. Naidu declared that the grain production in AP has decreased to 8 Metric Tons compared to that of 2019-20 which is alarming and on the contrary, Telangana is producing more than 90 Metric Tons in the last year. The senior politician asked people to observe how TDP has worked to provide water for the Rayalaseema region right from the times of NTR Sr to his regime with projects like Somasila, Telugu Ganga and reminded them how the TDP government tried to bring Godavari water to the rivers in the region like Penna.
Babu has promised that he will complete all the projects that were laid the foundation in the past despite the Jagan Government’s misuse of funds and gave his word on providing water for every acre of Andhra Pradesh once he gains power in the 2024 polls.
