YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has sharply attacked the coalition government that comes in power for not delivering any benefits to the people despite passing six months. While talking with YSRCP leaders in a recent meeting held from Anantapur district, he told about the state of challenges the state was presently facing and the steps it was in need of, so as to rectify it. He also compared his reform policies with the approach of the coalition government.
Jagan accused the ruling coalition of undermining democratic processes, particularly in the recent elections for irrigation committees. He called the “Vision 2047” initiative just a political stunt, underlining the fact that most of the promises made by the coalition before the election were still to be met. The true vision for the state was already being realized, according to Jagan, through the progressive reforms that his government had implemented.
Highlighting some of these reforms, Jagan pointed to the revolutionary healthcare initiatives, such as introducing Family Doctors and Village Clinics, to provide quality healthcare at the doorstep of citizens. He also pointed to the establishment of Secretariats to bring government services closer to the people and the launch of the e-crop initiative, which helps farmers.
Jagan further attacked the Chandrababu Naidu-led government by cutting pensions and not continuing new pensions to the deserving people. He called on the public to stand up against the current government, which is not taking appropriate action, and urged the leaders of YSRCP to take this chance and come out as a great leader who will change the state.
This statement from Jagan indicates the continued political dynamics in Andhra Pradesh and the push for further reforms under the leadership of YSRCP.
