The cases registered against KTR show that CM Revanth Reddy is busy in the work of arresting KTR at any cost. All channels telecasted the special interview “Ista Goshi” held by KTR with Telangana poet and orator Gorati Venkanna in front of the martyrs’ memorial.
The state government has not only registered a case against KTR at the Saidabad police station for holding an Ishta Goshti in front of the martyrs’ memorial, but is also continuing to register cases in police stations wherever there is an opportunity across the state.
This gives scope to suspect that the Revanth Reddy government has grown hostile towards BRS Working President KTR, who is constantly trying to create awareness among the people by exposing the failures of the Congress government in Telangana.
Many BRS leaders also suspect that there is a conspiracy to arrest KTR and put him in jail somehow.
It may be recalled that Revanth Reddy, who was caught in front of the cameras with Rs. 50 lakhs in the ‘Vote for Notes Case’, was put in jail by the previous BRS government. In retaliation, it was reported that Revanth Reddy openly told his close associates the day before his swearing-in that he would take his political revenge by putting one of KCR’s family members in jail, including KTR.
Political analysts say that since the formation of the government, several ministers are openly stating that KTR will be sent to jail whenever they get the time. It is noteworthy that cases are being registered against KTR in remote areas of the state after Congress leaders and activists complained.
A case was registered at the Saidabad police station over the comments made by KTR during an interview at the Martyrs’ Stupa, but the High Court stayed it. Cases were registered at the Musheerabad police station for violating the election code of conduct, at the Mahadevapura police station for using a drone camera without permission in Medigadda, at the Saifabad police station for addressing the Chief Minister as ‘Cheep Minister’, at the Utnur police station for comments made on the Musi project, and at the Charminar police station for protesting at Charminar.
In this, a case was registered against Union Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah at the Charminar police station, but the case was dismissed due to lack of evidence. However, the case against KTR is being continued.
