Young and talented hero Nikhil Siddharth is busy working on the regular shooting of his ongoing flick titled Swayambhu. Touted to be a historical thriller with a tinge of mythology, the hero is said to be taking a giant leap in his career with this project.
Nikhil scored his first ever Pan Indian blockbuster with the movie ‘Karthikeya-2′ and needless to say Lord Krishna factor did play its role in the success alongside an intriguing storyline. His immediate next ‘Spy’ tanked miserably and at this juncture, he needs to plan his career carefully to score a hit and not to spoil his Pan Indian appeal but Nikhil is doing a historical thriller as a warrior and the story is set up in the 14th century. A warrior role is not easy for a chocolate boy-looking hero like Nikhil as it needs many skills like sword fighting, horse riding, etc like Ram Charan in Magadheera. However the released posters are exciting for now and more than anything, the makers need to take care of the budget so that it should not cross the estimated 30 crores figure which matches the hero’s box office stamina. Making this movie within the cost and impressing the audiences are two big tasks ahead of this movie’s team and hero Nikhil.
This periodic drama is written and directed by a newcomers duo Bharat Krishnamachari and Aditya Bahudanam. KGF fame Ravi Basur is providing the music and background score while Manoj Paramahamsa is handling the camera.
