Indian Cricketer Rishab Pant met with a car accident on Friday. The 25-year-old was severely injured in a road accident while driving from Delhi to Roorkee in Narsan, Haridwar district.
According to the sources, Rishab was driving alone when his BMW hit the divider railings on the Delhi-Haridwar highway. The car caught fire before turning into a fireball. Rishab who was locked in the car escaped by breaking the window and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he was undergoing treatment for his injuries to head, back, legs.
As per the details by the police, Rishab lost control of the car after sleeping behind the wheels. The Delhi cricketer is currently stable at the moment and have a long journey ahead to recover from his injuries. Ever since the incident, cricket fans and netizens are relieved that he is safe and stable and are praying for the young cricketer’s speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, Rishab Pant is best known for his wicket keeping skills. But the Delhi cricketer was left out of India’s squads for both the ODI and T20I series against Sri Lanka.
According to BCCI, Pant was supposed to join the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru this February for the upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy.
