IAS Officers Assigned New Posts In Andhra Pradesh After Transferring From Telangana

The Andhra Pradesh government has taken some very important steps by officially posting several IAS officers who have recently transferred from Telangana. According to reports, Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad has declared these postings, which will surely bring fresh thinking to their respective departments.

Appointing Vani Prasad as Chief Secretary to the Labour Department M.M. Nayak has been relieved of his additional responsibilities in that department. Vakati Karuna will be the Commissioner for Health and Family Welfare Department from where she has taken the responsibility of steering the National Health Mission.

Amrapali was recently appointed as the Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. She has also been promoted to acting CEO of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority, affording her several responsibilities over the development and growth in the state.

Another transfer includes Commissioner, Archaeology and Museum Department Jai Vani Mohan who will take over as Chief Secretary for Services Affairs in the General Administration Department. Bhaskar, who has been managing these responsibilities will also be relieved, the order added.

This reshuffling followed the recent reported IAS officers – Amrapali, Vakati Aruna, Vani Prasad, and Ronald Ross, who after being rejected the intervention from Telangana High Court upon DoPT’s orders entered Andhra Pradesh, now the new postings ensure more efficient governance from Andhra Pradesh.
