As reported earlier, the TPCC MP of Bhuvanagiri, Komatireddy Venkata Reddy has met the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. Contrary to all the speculations regarding his change of party, Reddy cleared the air by stating that the meeting is clearly about issues of people.
Komatireddy has been trending in the political circles of Telangana as he was unhappy with the Congress bigwigs as they ignored his constant wish of becoming TPCC President. His open criticism of the current TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy added more fuel to the flame, everyone thought that he is all set to join BJP deserting the congress. Amidst all these, Reddy sought the appointment of Modi.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy immediately after meeting the Prime Minister addressed the media and declared that he was not leaving the congress and the reason for the meeting was purely about development. He stated that the Musi river needs a lot of care and cleaning and urged the central government to take up the issue. Apart from this, Reddy asked the PM if he could extend the Vijayawada national highway up to Yadadri so that the devotees can have a smooth journey without hurdles. Indirectly talking about his future interests and party changing, Venkat Reddy claimed that he will openly reveal the news to the media before the polls but not now.
