Former BRS Minister T Harish Rao has expressed confidence that the BRS party will definitely get 100 seats whenever the elections are held and denied the news that BRS will merge with the BJP. “Some people are working hard and are promoting that the BRS party will join the BJP. Our party will not form an alliance with anyone. It will contest alone and come to power. KCR has already broken the pot on this issue,” he said.
On the state formation day, digging at Congress government’s anti-people attitude, he asked “Did Revanth Reddy build even a single project? Did he dig even a single tank? He has evaded the Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima schemes. He has done little without fully waiving off loans.”
He lamented that development in the state has completely stalled and the government has failed to fulfill the promises made to the people. He said that if Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is the leader in telling lies, then former Chief Minister KCR is the leader in development. He challenged that he will resign from his post if the CM’s comments about giving interest-free loans to women are proven.
Harish Rao questioned why BJP leaders were silent on the Godavari- Banakacharla project? “If necessary, we will block the Godavari- Banakacharla project even if we go to the Supreme Court. We will not tolerate any action that harms the interests of the state,” he made it clear.
He warned that some officials in the government were behaving excessively, their names were being written in the Red Book and that when the time comes, they would be taught a suitable lesson of continuing harassing BRS activists. Harish Rao alleged that the recent beauty pageants held in the state were not properly organized, which has tarnished the image of the state.
“They have tarnished the reputation of the state by not even being able to organize beauty pageants. The government should immediately respond to the allegations made by Miss England and release the CCTV footage,” he demanded.
He deplored the fact that projects worth Rs. 12,000 crore in the state were awarded to just four big contractors. He alleged that there was a lack of transparency in government policies.
