AP Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha accused that YSRCP leaders are using incidents of rape against women and children for politics. She expressed her anger that the party leaders have become political vultures. She said that they are trying to use the atrocities against them in their favor by going to every place where lustful people are aroused.
Anitha was furious that the police and CCTV camera systems had been weakened during the YCP regime. She questioned why the YCP leaders who came to visit the victim’s family did not go to Sharmila. Anitha was furious that all those leaders who say they will stand by women did not stand by Sharmila, who was deceived by her brother (Jagan).
Home Minister Anitha said that the murder of a child in Vadamalapet is very sad and everyone should condemn such incidents. On this occasion, she visited the victim’s family on Sunday and said that the accused in this case will not be spared under any circumstances.
She assured the victim’s family that the case will be taken to a special court within three months to ensure punishment. On this occasion, the victim’s family was handed over a cheque of Rs. 10 lakh announced by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. She said that they are providing a house and a job to the girl’s father as per the request of the child’s mother.

A couple from KVB Puram mandal came to their in-laws’ village of Vadamalapet mandal a month ago with their two children for a livelihood. They kept the two young children with their grandmother and lived by working together.
However, a man named Sushant, who was the children’s uncle, used to visit them frequently. On Friday evening, he took the three-and-a-half-year-old girl near to her school, promising to give her some chocolates. He then raped her and brutally murdered her. He dumped her body in a drain.
The girl’s parents, who came home from work that same evening, did not find their daughter. A case was registered and an investigation was launched after a complaint was filed with the police. This incident created a sensation across the state. The state government took this seriously.
CM Chandrababu Naidu assured the victim’s family that he would stand by them. He also announced Rs. 10 lakhs for them. To this extent, Home Minister Anita visited the victim’s family and reassured them.
