The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has issued notices to Jayabheri Group, owned by prominent actor and producer Murali Mohan, regarding unauthorized constructions at Rangalkunta Lake in Hyderabad. The notices demand the removal of structures built within the Full Tank Level (FTL) and buffer zone of the lake.
The notices have directed Jayabheri Group to respond and take necessary actions to comply with the regulations. Meanwhile, HMDA Commissioner Ranganath has inspected the lake. As part of its ongoing efforts, HMDA has been demolishing illegal constructions across various lakes in Hyderabad. Recently, the authority demolished the N Convention Hall constructed within the FTL of Tummidikunta Lake in Madhapur. Notices have also been issued for constructions within the buffer zone and FTL of Durgam Cheruvu.
