The cadre of the Jana Sena are rejoicing over this important development as they prepare for the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh. The High Court dismissed the petition filed by the Rashtriya Praja Congress (Secular) challenging the allotment of EC glass-glass symbol to the Jana Sena party.
The Election Commission recognized the Jana Sena as a registered party and released the list on April 2 adding the glass glass to the list of free symbols. In this background, the Jana Sena party resorted to legal battle.

However, there was a confusion with the addition of the EC Glass symbol to the free symbol list. In this order, a petition was filed in the High Court challenging the allotment of glass symbols to Jana Sena. Suspicions were expressed as a politically motivated act.
The main leaders of the party expressed confidence that the candidates who contested on behalf of the Jana Sena will contest on the Glass Glass symbol.
