It is a known fact that all is not well between the Telangana Governor Tamilasai and the Telangana CM KCR. The cold war reached a new height when the state government approached the High Court regarding the Governor’s interference with the state’s affairs. However, the High Court has made some stunning comments on this entire issue regarding a case filed against the Governor.
Governor Tamilasai belongs to the BJP and the BRS Chief KCR known for his enmity with Modi’s sarkar gave rise to a war of words between the state and the Governor. Tamilasai tested the patience of KCR by giving an open interview against the state government on a national channel and also started to solve issues in the Raj Bhavan. Recently Tamilasai refused to give consent to Telangana’s annual budget bill that has to be introduced in the winter assembly sessions and miffed KCR made the T-Govt approach the High Court of Telangana.
After hearing the government attorney’s plight, the Justice bench found that the Governor was unnecessarily involved in the state’s affairs thereby creating a lot of unwanted issues. The High Court directly asked the Governor if it can serve notices against her and interfere in her work to make her understand her deeds regarding the T-Government. The bench finally took up the petition filed against the Telangana Governor Tamilasai and for the first time, a petition was filed against the Governor opposite to Article 361 which gives full rights to the President and Governor to exercise their powers.
