HCL is making preparations for massive expansion of operations in Andhra Pradesh. HCL representatives Vice President Shiva Shankar and Associate Vice President Shiva Prasad met IT Minister Nara Lokesh and expressed willingness to create another 15,000 jobs in the state.

HCL has initiated its operations in the state in 2014 after Chandrababu Naidu became the Chief Minister and as of now providing 4,500 jobs. They said that their present expansion moves will create 5,500 more jobs.

According to them, as part of Phase 2, they will take up construction of a new office building, which will create another 10,000 jobs. Advanced technical services will be made available in accordance with the current international trends in IT.

Through this, plans have been prepared to create jobs on a large scale. They said that they are participating in the skill assessment and skill development which is going to be undertaken by the state government.

They urged minister Nara Lokesh for clear government approvals for their expansion plans, which were stalled during the previous government regime.

Meanwhile, Nara Lokesh deplored that YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s five-year regime has badly damaged AP’s brand image worldwide. He also expressed anger that Jagan has looted the incentives to be given to the companies.

The president of the Japan Companies Association brought to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s attention that they are not receiving incentives promised by the government. Lokesh posted the relevant video on X to see how AP’s brand image has been damaged by Jagan’s incompetent and corrupt rule.

Meanwhile, people queued up for the 28th Prajadarbar in Undavalli. Lokesh himself received representations from people and promised to resolve them. Minister Lokesh directed the officials to take steps for quick resolution of the problems as there are many appeals from people on land disputes. Staff are advised to coordinate with the concerned department.
