The High Court of Andhra Pradesh gave a sigh of relief to Margadarsi Chit Funds Pvt Ltd Finance company and its heads Ramoji Rao & Sailaja Kiran in this regard. It has issued a stay on the searches temporarily.
It is a known fact that the Jagan Sarkar and the Margadarsi founder Ramoji Rao have been at war as the latter who also owns the Eenadu media continuously writes stories against the CM and the ruling party. Irked with the TDP-backed Eenadu, Jagan-led State Government with the help of the state’s CID has been troubling Ramoji Rao with continuous raids across all the 37 branches of the company and also questioning the MD and the founder. In this regard, the State CID has registered cases against the company on the basis of the records it found and also by taking the complaints of the customers who lost their money. However, Ramoji Rao is claiming innocence and declares that everything was transparent in the company. Despite this, the CID along with the Stamps department continued its searches which were put to an end by the High Court. It also said that an interim judgment will be given in a couple of days regarding this case.
Meanwhile, Eenadu continued to trouble the ruling YSRCP Government and even used social media to trend the hashtag PeopleOfAPWithRamojiRao thereby lending support to the media baron Ramoji Rao.
