The Finance Minister of Telangana, Harish Rao reacted sharply to the TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu regarding his Khammam public meeting. The BRS party leader tried to score a self-goal by criticizing the TDP head but failed due to his hypocrisy.
It is a known fact that Babu made the Khammam public show a super success and this has irked the ruling party TRS, now BRS. Within no time, Harish Rao along with a couple of other leaders called for a press meet to slam the CBN. Rao asked CBN to confine to only AP and not enter Telangana as the locals boycotted the party way back in 2014. Not stopping there, Harish Rao claimed that CBN is trying to impress BJP by indirectly supporting it in Telangana in order to split the TRS vote bank and add the votes to the T-BJP.
Here the political critics couldn’t help themselves but state the fact that the party of TRS is now BRS and is trying everything it can to be a national party. It is also trying to expand its wings in Andhra Pradesh. So Harish and BRS have no ethical right to demand or ask CBN not to enter Telangana as TDP itself is a National party way before BRS even announced. In other words, Harish Rao has exposed his own hypocrisy when he himself wanted his BRS to expand across India but doesn’t want TDP outside Andhra Pradesh.
