Former minister and BRS Siddipet MLA Tanniru Harish Rao criticized the Kaleshwaram Commission report as a complete trap and a conspiracy.He said that KCR had only fulfilled his responsibilities as the Chief Minister and asked how political interference was happening. He expressed his deep anger that CM Revanth Reddy was not facing public problems due to his tendency to harass KCR.
He demanded that the 650-page report be presented in the Assembly and warned that the Congress government would be torn apart in the Assembly. He alleged that some selected paragraphs in the Kaleshwaram report were leaked and that leaders Chief Minister did not like were being defamed.
Harish Rao asserted that it was the Central government that gave permission to Kaleshwaram. He warned that he would look into the Congress after the full Kaleshwaram report comes out. He criticized CM Revanth Reddy for rushing for local body elections.
He questioned why NDSA did not come even though Polavaram collapsed three times, but came to Medigadda three times. He lamented that this was Congress and BJP’s dirty politics.
The former minister asked that action be taken against the Congress, which designed the project near Tummidihatti, first. He questioned where CM Revanth Reddy and Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy would put their heads if the Center showed the permissions given to Kaleshwaram?
Harish Rao warned that the Congress government would be washed away with evidence in the assembly. Stating that the TAC had given technical permissions to the Kaleshwaram project, he alleged that the Central Water Commission and engineers were misled. He said that if the 655-page report is released, the truth will be revealed.
He wondered how can the Chief Minister not review the Kaleshwaram project for the speedy completion? He asserted that KCR also did the same. He asked how the Revanth government is saying that this is also KCR’s own decision.
He clarified that the Kaleshwaram project was constructed with the approval of the CWC and the decision of the Cabinet. Harish Rao reminded that the Central Government organization Vyapcos also said that the project could be built at Medigadda.
