Three days after Kalvakuntla Kavitha was suspended, former minister T Harish Rao made sensational statements saying that KCR is supreme in BRS and that the final decision in any matter belongs to the party. Harish Rao, who is currently on a tour of London, said that KCR taught them to work together and serve the people.
Participating in the BRS NRI leaders’ Meet the Greet program, he expressed anger at the Congress government and lamented that Medigadda 3 pillars are being used for the sake of the people. He asked what the Revanth Reddy government has been doing for the past one and a half years? What is the status of the Kadem, Yellampalli and Peddavagu projects that were built by the Congress government and collapsed during that party’s rule?, he wondered.
Harish Rao asserted that Medigadda can be repaired in three to four hundred crores. But, he deplored that the Congress is spreading misinformation that it will cost one lakh crores. Harish Rao made it clear that politics should not be done in a way that harms the interests of the state and the interests of farmers.
He criticized the collapse of real estate in Hyderabad due to Hydra. He said that NRIs are not investing in the state. Stating that Telangana has achieved many miracles under the leadership of KCR, he wondered how development is possible if the rulers themselves have a negative mind set?
“Telangana has achieved many miracles under the leadership of KCR. There was a saying that Bengal practices, the country follows. But with KCR’s rule, we have brought it to the yoke of ‘Telangana practices, the country follows’,” he praised.
“In the last 10 years, Telangana has been the leader in the country in per capita income. Telangana has also been ranked first in the country in per capita electricity consumption. No state comes close to Telangana in GSDP growth”, he said.
Harish Rao recalled that KCR is a great leader who has provided drinking water to every household even though it was not included in the manifesto. “He is a great leader who said that if every household is not provided with Nalla water by the next assembly elections, he will not be asked for votes. He has provided clean drinking water to every household through the Mission Bhagiratha program,” he added.
