BRS senior leader Harish Rao has strongly criticised the Congress-led Telangana government over the issuance of a TSPSC notice to party leader Rakesh Reddy. Terming the move as politically motivated, Harish Rao questioned whether raising concerns over irregularities and injustices now warrants legal notices.
In a sharp statement, Harish Rao alleged that the government was engaging in vindictive actions against Rakesh Reddy, who, he said, was merely voicing the concerns of Group-1 aspirants. “How can a government that claims to be democratic resort to authoritarian practices?” he asked.
He also expressed concern over what he described as intimidation tactics, including the threat of criminal cases against those who question the administration. “Rather than addressing the allegations and revealing the facts, the government’s high-handed response is deeply concerning,” he added.
Calling the move undemocratic, Harish Rao urged the government to reconsider its approach. He asserted that the BRS would not be cowed by such actions and would contest any illegal cases through legal channels.
