BRS senior MLA Harish Rao has alleged that the individuals involved in the recent attack on actor Allu Arjun’s residence in Jubilee Hills have connections with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He claimed that the accused, who were photographed with Revanth Reddy, were also responsible for earlier attacks on his camp office in Siddipet. Harish Rao criticized the targeting of individuals with cases, stating that such actions are unjustified.
Congress Criticized Over Governance
Harish Rao stated that if elections were held immediately, the Congress party would struggle to secure even deposits, reflecting widespread dissatisfaction across all sections of society. He urged Revanth Reddy to demonstrate equal concern for broader public issues, as he has shown in the Allu Arjun case.
Expressing grief over the death of Revathi in the Sandhya Theater stampede, Harish Rao highlighted the government’s lack of response to the deaths of over 50 students in state-run gurukul schools and hostels. He questioned the value placed on these children’s lives.
Allegations Against Revanth Reddy
Harish Rao raised concerns about a suicide case involving a former sarpanch from Revanth Reddy’s village, who cited harassment by Revanth’s brother. He pointed out the absence of an FIR and criticized the lack of action, suggesting preferential treatment under the law.
Claims of Suppression of Opposition
Harish Rao accused the Congress government of using intimidation tactics and physical attacks to silence dissenting voices. He condemned the alleged introduction of Rayalaseema-style factionalism into Telangana politics, attributing it to Revanth Reddy, and warned that such practices would not be accepted by the people of the state.
